If you decide that your film's tentative MPAA Rating can be overturned to your desired rating, this service is for you. Appeals are often used after editing efforts have been exhausted, when a director has a strict vision of how he/she wants the film to be released, or the parties involved are obligated contractually to a specific rating. The following are FRA's appeals services:

  • Consult and advise you of your chances of success.

  • Work with you on each step of the process.

  • Utilize our film knowledge that will give you your very best odds.

  • Either represent you at the appeal or guide you behind the scenes.

  • Work with you after the Appeals Board has made their decision.

*FRA fees are separate from MPAA rating fees.
